After doing a brightening facial at the Clarins counter, the sales associate recommended this oil to me since I'm prone to blemishes. I was told that when used correctly, this oil should help control the amount of oil excreted on my face and aid in blemish prevention. At the time, I was going through bouts of breakouts for reasons that are still unknown to me so I was willing to try anything- including this oil.
Personally, I'd found the small and texture of the oil to be quite pleasant. At night, I massaged my face with the oil warmed up in my palms as instructed by the sales associate. Unfortunately, despite how much I wanted this item to work, it didn't. Nothing about my complexion was improved by the use of this oil. Though, fortunately, using this oil didn't exacerbate my condition either. After 2 weeks of using this oil, I decided to move onto something else.
Now I finally have my skin under control ( half a year later), I use this oil for head and neck massages. I don't think I will ever buy this item again for skincare purposes. As a massage oil though, it is very nice ( but expensive for this purpose!) As an alternative, I think I will purchase its equivalent "body" version, which is cheaper for the volume and feels/smells exactly the same way.
The cost of this oil is
1.4 oz. $46.00 USD = $1.20 USD/mL=~37 NT/mL
Assuming you use about 0.5mL per night, you are spending ~ 19 NT per night ( or ~0.60USD) .
